Gurpurab Celebrations (Pre-Primary & Primary)
On Tuesday, 12th November 2024, the students of Pre-Primary and Primary Departments at Chinmaya Vidyalaya New Delhi enthusiastically celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti, deepening their understanding of Sikh culture and spirituality.
The Pre-Primary learners embarked on a fascinating journey, watching an informative video on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life, followed by a soulful shabad chanting session. They enthusiastically chanted 'Satnam Waheguru' while walking through the corridors and expressed their creativity through freehand drawings of a Gurudwara.
Students from Nursery to V respectfully bowed before the Guru Granth Sahib, offered prayers, chanted the Mool Mantra, listened to Ardaas, and gratefully received Kadha Prasad.
Through these meaningful activities, Chinmaya Vidyalaya New Delhi nurtured interfaith understanding, tolerance, and spiritual growth among its students, embracing the universal values of love, kindness, and unity that Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings embody.
