Traffic Park Activity | Pre-Primary Department
On Friday, 30 January 2026, the Pre-Primary Department of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi conducted a Traffic Park Activity on the school grounds. The space was set up as a miniature traffic park with marked roads, crossings and signals to help young learners experience basic road situations in a controlled setting.

Basant Panchami Celebration | Pre-Primary Department
On Friday, 23 January 2026, the Pre-Primary learners of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi observed Basant Panchami, the festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. The occasion was introduced through a short story that explained the significance of the day in a manner suited to the learners’ age and understanding.
A bhajan in praise of Saraswati Maa was sung during the morning, and the learners listened with focus as the session progressed. Many children came dressed in yellow, in keeping with the tradition associated with the festival, which added a festive presence to the classrooms.

Republic Day Activities | Classes I–V
Republic Day was marked with a range of age-appropriate classroom activities for students of Classes I to V at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi. Each class engaged with the occasion in its own way, allowing learners to explore the idea of national identity through creative expression.
Class I learners spent time drawing the National Flag and reciting the Patriotic Pledge. Republic Day Celebration | Pre-Primary Department
On 22 January 2026, the Pre-Primary learners of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi observed Republic Day through classroom activities that introduced them to the idea of nationhood in a simple and age-appropriate manner.
A short oratory activity formed the centre of the celebration. The children spoke a few prepared lines on national symbols, the Tricolour and well-known national leaders. Small props supported their presentations, and each child was given time to speak at a comfortable pace.
