The Pre-Primary and Primary Departments of Chinmaya Vidyalaya came together to celebrate Mother's Day. The day was marked by heartfelt activities and gestures, demonstrating love and appreciation for all the incredible mothers.

The learners crafted heartfelt cards for their mothers, serenaded them with songs, and engaged in lively action dances. These activities fostered a sense of creativity and expression while strengthening the bond between children and their mothers.

Pass the Ball Activity - Pre-Primary

Chinmaya Vidyalaya recently organised a 'Pass the Ball' activity for the young learners of the Pre-Primary Section. 

The objective of the session was to promote the development of physical and gross motor skills among the students, enhancing their coordination, balance, and control over larger muscle groups. 

The activity received an enthusiastic response from the students and was a great success. 

It combined fun with learning and emphasised the importance of movement in daily life. 

Such initiatives play a vital role in nurturing well-rounded, academically proficient, physically fit, and socially adept individuals.

Sewa Divas (108th Gurudev Jayanti)

Chinmaya Vidyalaya marked a significant milestone as it commemorated the 108th Jayanti of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, also celebrated as Sewa Diwas, with a remarkable special assembly.

Students, faculty, and staff converged in unity to honour his life and wisdom. Through insightful presentations, they illuminated the path paved by Pujya Gurudev, highlighting his unwavering dedication to disseminating the timeless wisdom of Vedanta.

In a harmonious display of reverence, students joined together in chanting his 18 names, followed by a soul-stirring rendition of the Bhajan - Jai Guru Omkara.

The Prep class of Chinmaya Vidyalaya recently engaged in a delightful and enriching role-play activity centred around the theme of ‘My Favourite Family Member’.

Each learner enthusiastically participated in this interactive session, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and expressive skills.

The learners came to school dressed as their beloved family members and carried props to enhance their portrayal.

An Inter-House English Poetry Recitation Competition was recently held for the students of classes VI to VIII.

The competition commenced with participants from Class VI, who delivered stirring recitations on the theme of ‘Mother and Family.’ Their heartfelt renditions evoked emotions and depicted the deep bonds within familial relationships.
