Mother's Day Celebration

The Pre-Primary Department of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar, joyfully celebrated Mother's Day on 7th May 2025. The event honoured the invaluable role mothers play in our lives, filling the day with warmth, appreciation, and cherished moments.

The celebration began with a heartfelt welcome speech, followed by a soulful song by the school choir and a charming dance performance by the tiny tots, setting the perfect tone for the day. A range of interactive activities added vibrance to the event, including fun games such as Balloon Toss and Cup Pyramid, and an engaging DJ session where mothers picked chits and danced with their children while participating in the Newspaper Fold dance game.

A DIY snack-making activity using Monaco bites brought smiles and creativity to the gathering. One of the most meaningful activities was the paper boat-making session, where mothers and their children created origami boats, wrote their names on them, and floated them in water — symbolizing love, bonding, and cherished memories shared together.

As a token of appreciation, each mother received a goody bag. The event concluded with heartfelt messages written by mothers on the Feedback Board, making the celebration truly memorable and deeply touching. The Mother's Day celebration at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar, was a joyous tribute to the love and dedication of mothers, creating lasting memories for all involved.
