National Science Centre
On 16th April 2025, learners from Classes III to VI of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi, embarked on an exciting and educational visit to the National Science Centre. The trip, filled with curiosity and wonder, provided students with a unique opportunity to engage with scientific concepts in a hands-on environment, fostering a deeper understanding of the world of science.
During the visit, students explored a wide range of interactive exhibits and displays that brought various scientific fields to life. The learners had the opportunity to delve into captivating topics such as space, robotics, energy, and human biology, each of which sparked their imagination and prompted them to think critically about the world around them.
The students explored several fascinating galleries, each offering a distinct perspective on different aspects of science. The ‘Water – The Elixir of Life’ gallery highlighted the importance of water in sustaining life, while the Science and Technology Heritage gallery provided insight into the historical evolution of scientific inventions. The Human Biology gallery captivated the learners with its detailed exhibits about the human body, and the Prehistoric Life gallery took them on a journey through the ages of early life on Earth. The Fun Science gallery offered interactive, hands-on activities that delighted students, while the Sardar Patel Gallery focused on the contributions of the Iron Man of India.
Each gallery presented engaging and thought-provoking displays, including working models and interactive exhibits, that allowed students to engage directly with the concepts they were learning. The students were particularly amazed by the interactive exhibits that provided them with a deeper, more tangible understanding of the topics at hand.
The visit to the National Science Centre was not only a fun-filled experience but also an enriching educational journey.
