Sewa session

The Primary school students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya New Delhi recently conducted a lemonade distribution session for the school's support staff as part of the Sewa programme.

The children learned the importance of kindness in action and provided a refreshing treat to express appreciation to those who work hard, especially in the scorching heat and humidity.

A video of a story demonstrating the ripple effects of acts of kindness and community service was also viewed by the students, and this left a lasting impression and profound impact on the children. A digital presentation on the significant impact of small acts of selfless service was also shared, followed by a discussion on various ways to show kindness and engage in Sewa.

Examples included offering water to delivery personnel, distributing water bottles to people living on pavements, making water bowls for birds, and providing water to domestic helpers.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya New Delhi is committed to fostering a spirit of service for the holistic development of each student.
