Visit of Cultural Exchange: Embracing Indian Spiritual Heritage

Chinmaya Vidyalaya New Delhi recently welcomed students and teachers from Germany and Lotus Valley School, creating a vibrant platform for cultural and educational exchange.

The guests were warmly greeted with a traditional tilak and the Hari Om salutation, symbolizing respect and spiritual unity. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the chanting of the Shiva Sankalpa Sooktam by students, setting the tone for a meaningful interaction.

The school Principal introduced Chinmaya Vidyalaya's values, highlighting its unique blend of modern and traditional learning. Mr. Anand Sharma elaborated on the universal symbol of "Om" and led a group chanting session, instilling peace and unity among participants.

The highlight of the meet was an insightful discussion on Chapter 5 of the Bhagavad Gita, Karma Sanyasa Yoga, and a brief introduction to the scripture's teachings. This illustrated the relevance of these timeless wisdoms in overcoming life's challenges.
