Workshop: How to Get Published?

As part of the English Week celebrations, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi, in collaboration with Scholastic, hosted a student-centred workshop titled How to Get Published? on 16 July 2025. The session provided an engaging and practical introduction to the world of writing and publishing.

Led by Ms Bhavya and Ms Zimsha, the workshop created an interactive space where learners explored what it means to write with purpose and clarity. Through open discussions and hands-on guidance, students examined key aspects of storytelling such as finding a personal voice, building structure, and shaping narratives that connect with readers.

The facilitators also demystified the publishing process, helping students view it not as a distant goal but as something within reach through consistent practice and a habit of reading. The sessions balanced inspiration with practical advice, making the idea of becoming a published writer feel both exciting and achievable.

By the end of the workshop, students came away with a stronger appreciation for writing as a powerful form of expression and a valuable life skill. The experience added depth to the English Week celebrations, leaving many participants newly motivated to write, read, and share their stories with confidence.
