Teacher’s Day Celebration
“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”
On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, the Pre-Primary learners of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi, celebrated Teacher’s Day with enthusiasm, warmth and joy. The day honoured teachers for their dedication and guidance while giving the youngest students a chance to express gratitude in creative and heartfelt ways.
The celebration began with a colourful Show and Tell activity in which children dressed up as their favourite teachers. With innocence and affection, they spoke about the qualities they admired, filling the atmosphere with smiles and appreciation. This was followed by a lively PPT presentation that included a short story and a melodious song dedicated to teachers, capturing the spirit of the occasion.
Teachers also took a reflective moment to share insights about the life and contribution of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Their words helped the little ones understand the significance of the day and the values that define true teaching.
Adding to the fun, the learners enjoyed a special movie-time experience, complete with crunchy popcorn, which brought joy and laughter to the classrooms.
The celebration was a perfect blend of learning and festivity. It gave children the chance to honour their teachers in meaningful ways, while also creating cherished memories of togetherness. The day ended with hearts full of gratitude and happiness, reminding everyone of the profound bond between teachers and their students.
